3004 Douglas Road has many special features, which you can view by pressing the buttons under the photo. One of our most entertaining features is our resident crane, Heronymous. In this photo, he entertains us by walking on the pond's thin ice surface. Ice in our area is not common and Heronymous is enjoying a unique experience. This Spring, in addition to the crane, a pair of Canadian Geese, a pair of mallards and a pair of wood ducks have settled in. It looks as if all will stay long enough to raise newborns.
