3004 Douglas Rd enjoys mature landscaping. There are plantings throughout the acreage and the northeast corner alone has over 20 bearing fruit trees. Our other trees include cedar, willows, ornamental plum, and dawn redwood. We have five large planting beds, the foundations for which are provided by the plum trees. These trees show pink flowers in the spring and deep red/purple leaves well into the fall. There are azalea, lilac, camelia, rhododendron, butterfly bushes and hydrangea. We have coryopsis, euonymus, roses, iris, bleeding hearts, astilbe, sedum, ferns, lilies of the valley, hosta, Jacob’s Ladder, petunia, pansies and many others. An herb garden is just outside the kitchen door. And there is a raised vegetable bed in the back side yard.
